Thi Yen (Yenny) Nguyen
I am Yenny Nguyen. I have been a painter and tattoo artist in Toronto since 2018. I am studying at Centennial College. 4 years ago, I was a bank teller. At that time, a ton of work made me depressed and I could not deal with it in a long time. I decided to change my way to make my life feel better. That is reason why I am here to release positive energy for all people throw artworks. I have strong believe that art has healing power for you and for me. I love utilizing goldleaf line and Japanese origami paper, and watercolour to illustrate emotions and movement in my artworks and explore the depths of composition.
Ocean plastic pollution has been hit the headlines around the world. Each year, millions of tonnes of plastic waste float on the sea, which makes a danger to sea life because fish and animal under the sea, they eat plastic and die. This issue becomes my inspiration. The message that I want to convey in my artworks is we should stop to throw plastic to the sea and protect our planet’s amazing marine.
